Math - Using your knowledge of shapes, create a robot made from either 2D shapes or 3D shapes. If you choose to do a 2D robot, cut shapes out of paper and glue them in the shape of a robot. If you choose to make a 3D Robot, you can reuse things from around your house to build it...for example paper towel rolls...etc... You could also get really creative and use both 2D and 3D shapes!!!! Send your teacher pics of you and your completed robot! HAVE FUN!

2. After completing your Brainpop Jr. Assignment, use your knowledge of shapes to go on a Shape Scavenger Hunt!! See if you can find some 2D & 3D shapes around your home both inside and outside. (Complete list and examples of shapes will be on our Facebook 2nd Grade Group and also Class Dojo). Next, make a list of what you find, take some pictures of you on your hunt and send to your teacher. If you can't find them all, it's ok! JUST HAVE FUN!

Reading : In the Story that you are reading A Hole in the Dike the main character, Peter shows great courage and becomes a hero. Draw a picture of someone who you think is a hero. It could be someone you know or your favorite superhero. Write a sentence telling why this person is a hero. Take a pic of your drawing and send to your teacher.
