STINNETT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

I attended elementary school at Hayes Lewis where I was a WOLVERINE from kindergarten through 8^th grade.  I went to LCHS and graduated from high school in 1995.  After high school I attended Hazard Community College for 2 years where I received an Associate's Degree and later my Bachelors Degree from Morehead State University in 2002.  I also have a Masters Degree in Special Education from Union College.

I was blessed to begin my teaching career at a wonderful school, the students and staff made Big Creek Elementary an awesome place to work.  I started there in 2002 and taught 6th grade for 2 years and for the next 3 years I taught 1st grade reading and k-6 social studies.  When the doors were closed at Big Creek I was blessed once more and became aBLUEJAY.  I began working at SES in 2007 in 4th grade.  For the past 3 years I have been teaching 5th-6th grade social studies.

My name is Debbie Pugh and I have been teaching for about 9 years.  Throughout the past nine years I have taught all grades k-6.  I am currently teaching 5th and 6th grade and I love this age group, they definitely keep me on my toes.  I have been married for 15 years to Ben Pugh and have two wonderful red-headed children, (Morgan Pugh 13 and BrycePugh 6).  My family truly makes life worth living.  I am currently coaching the A-Team Lady Jays here at SES, PTO vice-president, and co-sponsor for the A-club.
